Thanks so much to everyone who commented on my Year 2 Summary and Year 3 Project List posts! One person said they missed me when I stopped blogging which blew me away! I will try and post more often this year :)
A couple of you asked about the Bali bag - here is a link to purchase the pattern: http://www.auntiestwo.com/pattern.html
It's the 2nd one from the bottom. I bought it a quilt show a few years ago.
I spent the July 4th holiday weekend in Asheville, NC which meant car knitting so I got quite a bit done on my green sweater.
Hooray for car knitting! I bought the yarn at Purls Yarn Emporium in Asheville, NC when we were there last July so thought I'd better get going on it so I could buy more yarn while I was there this year which I did :)
Colour Affection and Boneyard are great to knit. Though Boneyard does get a little boring at times. It is perfect movie knitting. Have fun. Can't wait to see them.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the link to the Bali bags pattern. I've bookmarked it but there are lots of tempting project patterns there, and the last thing I need is MORE projects.
ReplyDeleteDon't you just LOVE car knitting?!
Ah, car knitting! Looking forward to doing some myself in a couple of weeks. Sweater is looking lovely and I'm loving the colour.
ReplyDeleteYou made great progress on green sweater, yayyyy for car knitting. Thanks for the link :)
ReplyDeleteI get car sick while car knitting! Thanks for the link.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the link to the Bali Bag! I also loved their popcorn items using clothesline cord. Is it your 1 year anniversary? Is that where you went for your honeymoon? I'm trying to remember last year....Ha! ha!
ReplyDeleteYou certainly got a lot done on your sweater and it looks so perfect....someday maybe I'll be able to knit like that if I live long enough. There's something to be said for getting an early start on some things..like horseback riding which I didn't get started until I was 47....it hurts more at 47 when you fall off and starting to knit at 65...well....we'll see about that one! LOL! So glad to see you blogging again!
Hooray for car knitting! Nice heathered shade of green too.
ReplyDeleteHooray for car knitting indeed! You do such beautiful work! I just looked at your trip post--what a lovely time you had. I love Bed and Breakfasts and yours looked beautiful.
ReplyDelete*smiles*
Oh yes, hooray for car knitting! You certainly accomplished a lot.
ReplyDeleteCar knitting s great (if it doesn't amke you feel sick like it does me), and it looks like you got loads done, looking great!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could crochet on the car/bus, I get motion sick! It sounds so cosy and nice :)
